Assessments
Neurodivergence can take many forms. Whether you feel you may be on the ASD spectrum or have ADHD, I offer assessments that aren’t just about finding a label.
Rather, receiving a diagnosis is just the first step in a process of coming to better understand who you are, how your brain works, and how you can embrace your strengths and learn new skills to help you thrive.
I work with Adults and Teens to provide thorough and research based assessments. Once your assessment is complete, I also offer coaching to help you use this new information about yourself to help you improve your life.
ADHD Assessments
ADHD is a type of neurodivergence that brings both strengths and unique challenges. If you feel that you or your teen may be struggling to focus, stay on task, or following directions, an ADHD assessment may make sense.
I work with my clients to recognize the patterns and symptoms of ADHD, and then to help you strategize on how best to set yourself up for success.
Understanding yourself better can be the first step in a process of empowerment and self-discovery.
ASD Assessments
Dr Stephen Shore once said, “When you meet one person with Autism, you’ve met one person with Autism”. This is because Autism exists on a wide spectrum, and each individual with Autism expresses their place on that spectrum in their own, unique way.
Many people, especially women with ASD, are often misunderstood and fail to be diagnosed because their individual expression of autism does not fit with the stereotypes and preconceived notions that many people have about what autism “looks like.”
I work one-on-one with adults and teens to really understand how you interact with the world and process information. What situations bring out your strengths? When do you feel overwhelmed, distracted, or confused?
Working together we can not only answer these questions, but then move forward, identifying strengths and formulating strategies that can better prepare you for happiness and success.
