Seisan: A clearing space for healing
Client centered psychotherapy and assessment rooted in psychological science.
Empowering you to build healthier relationships with others and yourself
I work collaboratively with my clients, empowering them to find balance, wholeness, and greater happiness in life. My broad experience both in a variety of psychological treatment modalities (Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Emotion Couples Therapy), as well as in working with a wide range of clients, enables me to provide therapy that is both deeply compassionate and well-rooted in psychological science.
How I Help
Individual Therapy
One-on-one therapy with Teens (age 14 and up) and Adults. Individual therapy is an opportunity to dive deep into the things that leave you feeling frustrated or numb. Often in individual therapy I use IFS (Inter Family Systems Therapy), a transformative and evidenced-based psychological approach which helps you to find greater inner-harmony and peace. IFS is rooted in the belief that you already have the potential to heal within you, and that by accepting and listening to yourself you can overcome trauma and recover wholeness.
Couples Counseling
Feeling misunderstood by your partner can be painful and confusing. I work with couples just like you to help you overcome conflict, re-connect, and come to a better understanding of what your emotional needs are and how to meet them.
Group Therapy
In group therapy we focus on combining DBT skills with self-awareness, creating empowering self-energy that can help you to understand your emotions and ultimately find greater balance, wholeness, and self-acceptance.
In these DBT-based groups, I work with you to help you learn somatic skills to manage feelings that are big, along with more traditional DBT skills. These groups will be both body-focused and experiential.
ADHD and Adult ASD Assessment Services
Neurodivergence can take many forms. Whether you feel you may be on the ASD spectrum or have ADHD, I offer assessments that are more than just providing a label.
Rather, receiving a diagnosis is just the first step in a process of coming to better understand who you are, how your brain works, and how you can embrace your strengths and learn new skills to help you thrive.
I work with Adults and Teens to provide thorough and research based assessments. Once your assessment is complete, I offer coaching to help you transform insights into concrete self-improvements.
